    Exclamation Cum se poate muri la MAERSK

    It's with deep regret that we inform you of an accident that took place on one of the Maersk
    Line Container Vessels on 27th March resulting in fatality of one crew member and a severe
    injury of another.
    The accident occurred during a drill while launching the Man Over Board (MOB) boat. The MOB
    boat was swung out over the ship's side and when the personnel entered the boat a failure on
    the hook arrangement caused the boat to drop approximately 18 meter to the water surface.
    Tragically, one person died from his injuries, while the other survived but with several broken
    limbs.
    Maersk Line is currently investigating all details as to how this tragic accident happened.
    Until the investigation is completed and we revert with applicable precautionary
    measures, all Maersk Tankers Vessels are instructed to refrain from carrying out any
    drills/exercises/demonstrations related with MOB boats, Free Fall Lifeboats or Davit
    Launched Lifeboats.

    Nu ar trebui sa-ti raspund, pt ca dupa cum scrii esti complet lipsit de judecata.
    Cum poti pune in sarcina unui adevarat om care a creat un imperiu, masa de seara.
    Depinde in totalitate de TOP4 si de C/Ck.
    Totodata si incompetenta celor din alte departamente, ca pay, crew, purchasing, technical, etc.
    Se strecoara multi neaveniti, mai ales acum cu politica de reducere a costurilor.
    Adevarul este ca avand C/Ck indian este un dezastru, cu filipinez se poate supravietui.
    Cand situatia devine insuportabila, avem posibilitatea sa incercam sa schimbam ceva, la bord sau sa cautam o alta companie.
    Avem cea mai libera meserie din lume!!!
    Pe forum putem scrie orice, dar in limita decentei, lipsa de educatie si anonimatul ii impinge pe multi sa-si exprime clar lipsa lor. Mai importante sunt starile de fapt si ramane sa alegem noi daca semnam un contract cu ei sau cautam ceva mai pe placul nostru.
    Sunt curios ce ai lasat in urma ta pana acum si ce o sa lasi dupa 98 de ani.
    Poate doar amintiri ale mesei de seara!

    Buna ! Ai idee , la contract Maersk permanent de 3/3 :

    a) Dk te schimba mai tirziu cu o saptamina-doua , se tine cont de asta la ambarcarea de peste urmatoarele 3 luni sau se pot aduna intr-un an - doi saptamini intregi neplatite ? Cum se regleaza in fapt zilele muncite in plus sa zicem pe un interval de 12 luni ?

    b) Preavizul ala de o luna - de renuntare la contract , dk il dai sa zicem la sfirsitul penultimei luni de concediu , se mai plateste sau ramii cu o luna neplatita ?

    c) Contractul permanent e permanent ... pe durata nelimitata sau ptr 1 an , 2 ani ? Ce clauze dezavantajoase contine la preavizul dat de navigator ?

    Salut,

    Am fost plecat doua saptamani in probe de mare si n-am putut sa-ti raspund.
    Eu am fost de doua ori la Maersk, la divizia Copenhaga(R-type, 35K dwt) si la divizia S'pore(N-type, VLCC, 318K dwt).
    La contract de 3 luni, on/off. In general se incearca back to back. Dar totul depinde si de cel cu care te schimbi si de portul convenabil.
    Nu ramai in niciun caz neplatit, daca iti respecti clauzele contractului si le dai preavizul cu 30 de zile inainte de expirarea perioadei de off.
    Cand vrei sa-ti dai demisia, vei primi un formular Exit interview, vei avea posibilitatea sa-ti exprimi in mod clar motivele plecarii.
    Daca tii cont de motive rezonabile, iti creezi posibilitatea de a te intoarce in caz ca vei mai dori.
    Bafta!

    Our crewing strategy is contributing to this by supporting a safe and cost-efficient vessel operation, which includes the recruitment, development and retention of the best officers and ratings in the industry.
    Further to our announcement regarding closing down of Maersk Tankers office in Romania, we are pleased to announce that we have selected our crewing agency and local collaborator in Romania who will be responsible for all manning related activities on behalf of Maersk Tankers. Our choice was based on the merit and values that best reflect our own.
    Stargate Crewing Agency, Constanta will be handling all crewing related activities in Romania for our Romanian officers as well as work on future recruitment drives in close coordination with the Mumbai office. Stargate has an experienced team of crewing professionals who are confident on delivering same level of service and personal attention to every member of our Romania crew pool.

    A disparut "partial", am inteles ca isi pastreaza angajatii din Romania(navigatorii), cu exceptia celor care erau angjati la office.
